There has been a number of changes in the macOS since creating this material, but what you see here still applies.
Contained here are the essential topics. I strive to keep it minimal, so it’s easy to scan and digest, but it’s a work in progress.
Regardless, some topics will always take a bit of patience and effort. There are things we have to do all the time: using Finder windows, making selections, switching between apps, editing text, right-clicking. Invest some time in learning the best methods, and your efforts will be rewarded over and over again.
About me
Having worked in technical support as an Apple specialist since 2000, in 2010 I went freelance, and discovered a need amongst people who felt they were being left behind by technology, to become proficient in using Apple devices. They needed to learn fast, with a focus on the features and tasks they actually needed to use and do on a daily basis.
Over time, through my experience providing technical support, and countless one-to-one and group training sessions, I wrote, refined, and compiled the topics that proved most useful.
